A sequel to a book I haven't read. I was drawn to the marching band aspect of the story. An adult bear, Mr Manders, and his(?) child, Edward James, hear a band in the distance, put on their ancestors' uniforms, and try to join the unseen band. A quiet, gentle book, in spite of the occasional burst of activity.
