This is a great book to teach students about manners and respect. An Hispanic couple, allow a stray cat to come into their home and have tacos with them for dinner. The cat has no manners, so the couple decided to teach him how to behave properly. This book has some Spanish phrase....."Mi casa es su casa" which means my home is your home. I think this is book has many benefits, I think kids should hear this cute story.

This is such a heartwarming story of a family who takes in a stray cat. The adults teach the cat proper manners that he must have in order to live in this house. The cat then decides to tell the adults the proper way to sit on the couch--with him on their laps. I love this adorable tale of a cat finding its fur-ever home!

This book was a lovely story about a cat who comes into a new home. The family who owns the home repeatedly tells Flynn the cat, "my home is your home", and they mean it. The family invites Flynn in and lets him live with them, but he must learn his manners. The book in whole is about Flynn learning his table manners and how to behave.
