Breve biografia
Born in Connecticut, Philip spent the majority of his childhood in rural Pennsylvania. He has scribbled his way to Lehigh University, the Parsons School of Design and finally to the Japanese archipelago. He currently lives on the island of Hokkaidō, where, when not designing English writing curricula for primary and secondary school students, he spends his hours building books and dreaming up charming author biographies.

Another rollicking adventure from Phillip Ejike. Occasionally I found the talking a bit drawn out otherwise a great addition to the Season of Clocks universe.

Reading a beautiful story by Ejike makes for perfection...his creativity for inventing a new world along with brilliant wordsmithing blows my mind - here are some new (to me at least) vocabulary words you'll encounter - bibliophants (I'd like to befriend one), glaucous plum, sparklebug, buttonberry juice, hirsute troglodyte. I feel smarter after reading Ejike!

I like that this is a stand alone story; it's been awhile since I read Book 1 of A Season of Clocks. It has adventure, libraries, high emotions, teenage angst, and more. If I go on, I'll need to post a spoiler alert. I could truly see this series of stories being made into movies as the writing is so alive that I can see it playing out in my brain as I read.

So, jump into this Pennsylvania universe and take a ride in a cloud skipper to a very special school and see what adventure you may happen upon.

fter reading the first book of A Season of clicks Mr Ejike kindly offered me the next two books.
The rollicking adventure continues! Cordelia and friends attempt rescues and getting themselves to hard to find libraries of the world amid danger, slavery, being chased, mystery and dealing with strange creatures.
I enjoyed books 2 and three, the long side stories becoming frustrating fir me at times.
Here’s to book 4!
