While there is no index, the table of contents is an excellent guide. It is perfect for bouncing around topics, and is also fine to read sequentially. It is illustrated with drawings and great photographs of the technology, all with dark background. Topics include GPS, space suits, space shuttles, space telescopes, space travel- all done in a factual but light format, including wisecracks on the side. For a kid who is interested in space, this is one to pour over.… (altro)

This is a gorgeous book! My daughter, who has a big interest in space, dug right into it and started telling me different facts right away! "Hey Dad, did you know...?" And in almost every case, I did NOT know! A very inspiring book for any young mind who wants to know more about the "world" above us!

I am older than the target audience and learned some new information, and the graphics in this book made it a real standout! They were easy to understand and just great to look at as well, I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in space, not just kids. Happy reading!
