There is a helpful glossary at the back, along with appendix on: Dyeplants, Sheep breed tables, and Suppliers - although many addresses are by now out of date and many of the small suppliers are also disolved (Yarncraft in Westbourne Grove, etc). Gregory Prentis and Green live on in name anyway as an award, but Frank Herring & Sons are still a thriving family run business now in it's third generation, and Wingham Wool Fibre Merchants are still in business (over 30 years on), Kemtex and Dylon obviously still exist too. The original British Wool Marketing Board HQ has changed after Oak Mills was bulldozed to rubble in about 1997 to make way for housing; but Coldharbour Mill is now a working wool museum.… (altro)
