The Icky Sticky Anteater did not like to eat ants; he much preferred honey and berries. However, all of the other anteaters pressured him to eat ants because they said it was his job! The Icky Sticky Anteater tried his hardest to fit in and eat ants, but he just couldn't do it! Finally the Icky Sticky Anteater decided that he was going to be different and do what made him happy. The other Anteaters accepted that everyone is different, and decided that it was okay if the Icky Sticky Anteater did not want to eat ants. This is a great book to teach children about differences, and let them know that it is okay to be different.
