Once a Warrior illustrates how to turn negatives into positives and assits our highly trained military personnel in ultilizing their tremendous potential in achieving success and happiness after their release from military service. This book highlights the path along the way to transforming from warrior to civilian. It is not a book to read just once, but to study over and over again.

Down Range is a timely book dedicated to bringing the troops home and addressing the challenges of the re-integration process from combatant to civilian. It includes potential solutions explanations, and insights as to why so many combat veterans suffer from flashbacks, depression, fits of rage, nightmares, anxiety, emotional numbing, and other troubling aspects of PTSD.

It's very interesting to be informed of what some of our troops experience when at war, but it's a very broad generalization of a single facet of what the men and women who serve see from the day they deploy to the day they return home. The story would have been better received had it come from a Vet and not a PhD.
