I think this is the first book I've read by Ms. Callahan and I really liked it. Love the ranch setting in Colorado. Also love that the main female character, Claire, is an archaeologist going on different digs in different countries. Jake, the cowboy rancher, is a homebody but is madly in love with Claire and has been since they were children. Can they work things out and both of them be happy? You'll have to read it to find out! Very nice romance!!

I was gifted with a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

I'm hooked on this series! The series follows four brothers with each brother having their own book. I've read the 2nd book and this is the 3rd. I am going to get the 1st book and read it because it is a really good series. The romance is so sweet that you cry and the sex is so hot that you need to shower to cool off! The characters are great! The brothers are a riot with their macho bickering and poking fun at each other but there is definitely a lot of love between them. This book follows the 2nd oldest brother, Mitchell, who is a smoking hot doctor. He's not much on relationships but he's seen his two younger brothers fall hard. When he meets Jessica he begins to understand his brothers a little. It takes a while for him to realize that it's love he's feeling but when he does... WOW! Can't wait to read the next one.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Chance can't say no to his mom, when she asks him to follow his dreams after her death he has to. If that means picking up a guitar again, he will. When he sees sweet, innocent Erin in the guitar store and sets up lessons with her he doesn't expect to see her again until Sunday, and especially not with a wig, killer boots, and a short skirt singing at the bar he's at. He may be a good-doing lawyer, but she makes him want to do bad bad things.
Erin is torn between the two sides of herself, the sexy rock goddess or the nervous, big sister playing mom to her younger brother. Chance may be hot as hell, but she doesn't have time for that. That is, until he kisses her and he shows her he has a dark side to him as well. When the opportunity she's always wanted lands at her feet she must decide if following her dream is worth leaving behind her always in trouble brother and the man who makes her really feel.

I love a good rock star romance book, combining music with reading will always work for me. Plus, Michele Callahan has taken a fairly common story and given it really unique character. Erin is definitely not what I expected her to be, I really enjoyed that she had already overcome her past in this novel so it wasn't weighing down the story. She's also a really strong character, despite not knowing her true self at all times she holds down the fort for her band mates, handles her younger brother the best way she knows how, and when she finally realizes her feelings for Chance she figures out what to do. I'm not saying anything she does is really right, but hey, it's realistic and if you know me, you know I love a realistic novel. Then there's Chance, I was about ready to jump into the book and say don't worry girl, you don't want him but I do. Who can say no to a young, smart, hot lawyer who's learning to play guitar and will happily bang you on the hood of his fancy car? Their relationship, while really quick moving, isn't necessarily insta-love but the feelings are there. I really liked that he could see through her and showed her she can be Eva or Erin, whichever she wants. I also liked his interactions with his siblings and even Erin's sibling, he's definitely his own man.

The pacing of the book is very fast, while I admit it isn't insta-love, there is plenty of other things going on that move quickly. Erin let's her alter-ego Eva run the show, but I still felt like her natural qualities would have out shown her sultry-sexy other self. Plus, her music career kind of took off like a rocket. I know signings don't work that way, at all, but in book world I get it. I could have used more of the music side, to understand who Erin's band really was, but I liked seeing her success in all aspects of her life. I definitely want another book based on her brother, but I think we are going to get the stories of Chance's brothers.

Crash and Burn was my first novel from Michel Callahan, but I don't think it will be my last. I enjoyed this music filled love story and look forward to the next book in the series.

Youth- a time when we have a naive outlook of what life should be. We enter the world with a blindspot to heartbreak and rejection. In our minds eye we are invincible to all the negativity and can accomplish anything we set our minds to. A great viewpoint to have but does not always proved to be accurate and when the blinders are removed and reality intrudes into that bubble we've built it hurts a lot. Alone With You is an accurate depiction of the simplicity of young love and how maturity and life changes. It is a journey full of emotion that proves painful at times but Ms. Callahan gets straight to the heart. Jake and Claire through the process of getting older have to face growing apart and finding out who they are separately before they can find their way back to each other. I received a copy of Alone With You in exchange for an honest review. My first time reading this author and enjoyed every minute of it.

A deeply moving story. Mitchell had made some choices in his life that he regrets and feels guilty for. At the time he did not realize the impact that one wrong move would have on his future and that of his family. Vowing never to end up in a similar situation, he safeguards himself emotionally by not letting anyone get to close. That is until he finally meets the one woman who can break through his barriers and see the man inside. Up All Night is a story that reiterates the theme of forgiveness. Mitchell made mistakes but in order to move on from them, he had to stop running and face them head on. That was part of his healing process. Falling in love is not easy. No one is perfect, but the challenge is accepting the good with the bad. Food for thought.

At the center of this story is a young man who has matured from an optimistic child to a determined young man. His drive to become a lawyer has caused his ability to dream to be put on the back burner but a tragedy in the family brings about a shift in his priorities. His mother always encouraged him to be the best at whatever he chose to do in his life and when she dies he remembers his promise and sets out to follow through. A refresher course in guitar playing leads him to hire Erin but he gets more than he planned on. Erin is a survivor. Her hard life has made her a woman that is passionate at whatever she sets her mind to. The biggest impact she has on Chance is she teaches him how to dream again and he teaches her how to love. I received a copy of Crash and Burn in exchange for an honest review. There are people who we meet at the right time that help us on the quest of becoming a better person. Erin and Chance needed each other. Crash and Burn is a story about never giving up on your dreams. I thought it was a wonderful story full of steamy scenes and heartbreaking plot twists.

I'm loving this series, and it's Mitchell, the drop dead gorgeous Doctor's turn this time. He's known among the nurse to be great in bed and his unfortunate nickname is Doctor Drop-your-panties, and he never stays with a lover longer than a month. Women still fall for him, until the sister of a patient seem immune to his charms. Well, she say's she doesn't date doctors, huh! he doesn't date seriously either, and he doesn't do the relationships.

It was a great story. Mitchell was fighting his feelings for Jessica, and she for him. They were so opposite but they say that 'opposites attract'. He seemed so lost at times, and Jessica had such fun ideas, she was a loverly character. They made a great couple.

And now there's only Derek left. I can't wait for his story, I know we're going to be in for a treat, I can't wait.

I'm really enjoying this series. And this time it's Jake turn. Adopted at a young age, Jake's love for his adoptive mother is unprecedented, he'd do anything for her. She's now gone after a illness took her strength and dignity, but Jake was there to see her through the bad days and pain and hopefully make her last days as comfortable as possible. She left Jake and his brothers cards they had filled out years ago with wishes and dreams they wanted. She returns them to remind them their dreams so they can achieve them now they're grown. Jake's dream is Claire. They had been in love for years, or so he thought, he certainly loved her and always would, but Claire didn't want a life on a farm and left in search of her career. But unfortunate circumstances bring them back together again. Will their differences still keep them apart or will they come to an understanding. The push and pull between these two characters was at times heart-wrenching, they want to be together, but their differences will always make their lives a struggle.
I loved the brothers, they didn't always help with Jakes sanity, the bantering was at times none stop, but when he really needed them they were there for each other, it was great.
I'm looking forward to the next book in the series, Mitchell's story, he's an interesting character I'd like to know more about.

Very entertaining. Chance's mother has passed away and left each of her sons the card they filled in years ago with wishes they'd like to achieve when they grew up, and her dying which is for them to see their dreams comes true.
Chance is stumped but tries his best and meets Erin while trying to achieve his dream.
Erin has dreams of her own and is working towards them, her feelings towards Chance become strong and she's loyal to her family and loved ones. Will she let her love and loyalty forget her dreams.
Chance was a very sexy, reliable type of guy. He knew he wanted Erin as soon as he met her and made his feelings known. And Erin was a great character, a little vulnerable, but her alter-ego was a dynamo.
I also like being introduced to Chance's brother's and I'm looking forward to reading their stories very much.
A great story, I would highly recommend it this book if you love rock star romance.
