This is a history book written in comic book form. The book is divided into 3 sections; ancient history, the middle ages, and the modern age. There is information written in comic form, but you will come across a bigger picture page that is more in-depth information

The vibrant, zingy front cover is a tantalising taster of what’s to come. The cartoon-style characters and comic strip illustrations are just perfect for the target 7 – 9 year old age group with lots of little details dotted around and about to hunt out and even turn into a game of I-Spy.
The alliteration, rhyming, word play and jokes will roll off the tongue, grab the attention and lead to lots of questions when read aloud.
I found the Wind Turbine chapter really interesting and the Diebedo Francis Kene segment moving and inspirational.
