The heroine is an aspiring romance author and is looking for Mr. Right. The hero is determined to marry the heroine, having bought a ring already after the first meeting. The heroine only sees the hero as a fling and a muse for her ongoing romance book that she's writing. The hero wants to prove her wrong. As the hero and the heroine become closer, which of them will be the winner in the way that their relationship will become: a fling or something more?

This is the second book in the On a Manhunt series by Vanessa Vale. It features a reverse age-gap, small-town steamy romance. The main couple are siblings of the couple from the first book in this series. I enjoyed the story vibe, which made the book enjoyable to read. I also enjoyed the steamy scenes and the likable characters. It was nice to see the journey of the couple's happy ending, through its ups and downs. Overall, a delightful read and I look forward to reading more books in the On a Manhunt series in the future!
