Copperfield's Books is sort of a chain, I think. It has a great selection of new and used books. The store in Petaluma is in a funky old building downtown (the used books were in the basement, and were artfully displayed: a joy). When I was there in April I was astonished how many people were out and about. Pedestrians. I'm not used to them. Are my suburban roots showing?
