I've been browsing World Cat -- http://www.worldcat.org. It is a reference to books found in a large number of participating libraries.
I'm finding it an excellent source for the titles of disaster books I don't already own. I've got a separate tab open for Amazon so that I can search there for books found on WorldCat, and so far I've had 100% success at finding the books either new or used at Amazon.
