There will be a large library book sale at the Guilderland Public Library, near Albany, this weekend, June 27, 28 and 29. Hours will be Friday from 5-8 p.m., Saturday from 10-4, and Sunday from 1-4. Sunday's sale will be a bag sale. On Friday and Saturday, books will be insanely cheap: 50 cents for hardcovers, 25 cents for paperbacks. The prices are so low because we* have so many books to sell, and we are out of space in our storage room. We expect to have a better books table on Saturday, with prices a bit higher for more recent or notable books.
All categories of books will be included, including children's books. For this sale, we will also have several boxes worth of books on psychology that were recently donated by a retiring psychologist.
Of course, the regular library bookshop, which is located inside the library, will be open as well.
*I say "we" because I'm involved with the Library Friends organizing the sale.
