This book was very hard to understand. I think the author needs to be a bit more open in describing what is going.

The storyline moved at a good pace, I like that, also, >2 EadieB: agree. Another odd thought came to me; Winterthorpe living and sharing a bed with djinn possessed Begbie, glad there is no descriptive narrative of that relationship.

As I said in a previous post I felt that the supernatural element was less well done than the investigation. I also felt that Emma came across as a character devoid of interest until the last third of the book. we never saw her point of view earlier on.
Oswald does write some good characters elsewhere in the book. I like DC Harrison with her quizzical glances at Tony's actions.
