Found: Romance Novel about Celia, a heiress deceived by a Frenchman to marry him so as to have control over her fortune

Please I've been searching for the name of a romance novel I read sometime around 2000s but it was written much earlier. It's plot goes like this: Heroine's name is Celia and she and her aunt gets invited by her rich dying estranged dad (Nat short form of Nathaniel) to his estate where she meets hardworking Geoffrey Moore who's working for her father and also likes to rescue stray dogs too. She also meets a money conscious handsome Frenchman (later became her fiancé) who pretends to love her but only wants her for her inheritance. She also meets a woman there too called Nadine who helps her shops for new clothes and so changes her wardrobe from dowdy outfits made by her aunt to fashionable ones on the order of her rich dad, which then makes Nadine jealous when Celia starts getting attentions from the men there. At the end, she eventually finds out her french lover's deceit and breaks up with him then recognises the true love Geoffrey has for her and accepts him to the approval of her aunt.
