My library has about 3,500 volumes, excluding journals. Thus, the need for Librarything.com. It includes a large holding in eighteenth-century history and religion. Also, there is collections that concern philosophy and theology. A small portion of the library consist of rare books, mainly eighteenth century English works.

Interested mainly in eighteenth-century English culture but in a broader way the Enlightenment. Have graduate degrees from Vanderbilt University (M.Div.), The University of the South (M.A.), and Oxford University (D. Phil.). Have published several articles on eighteenth-century Methodism with particular reference to the experience of the supernatural.
