I often say I like the three Cs best: comedy, crime and classics.

Non-fiction is also great fun as non-fiction is often stranger than fiction.

I don't buy many books for lack of space. Most of those I buy are non-fiction - about food, food history, food for health, anti-ageing, the English language, culture shock books, French and Spanish grammar books, fairy tales and pulp fiction such as The Saint and James Bond books.
