I created my library to have a resource to use when developing my curriculum and lesson plans. I wanted to include books I have used for class as well as books I intend to use in my classroom. I have included a wide range of subjects and hope to affirm diversity in my classroom my including as many cultures, preferences and backgrounds as possible in the literature that I teach. I feel that it is essential for my future students to be comfortable with themselves and to learn more about the cultures of their classmates through literature. I have also included textbooks that I have read as well as ones I hope to read while building my professional teaching career.

I am a senior at Michigan State University studying secondary English education.
