An odd mix of non-fiction, fiction, and children's literature.

I teach sociology at a regional public university, though I lurk on the fringes of the discipline, focusing on environment, international development, news media and propaganda. I enjoy writing for non-academic audiences, especially children, and I have a bank of stories honed and refined from a relentless audience (consisting of three girls, now grown). It's good therapy for an impending dark era (just kidding, Mr. President! Really! Ha ha!).
