I generally prefer books that involve a love story, but they have to have a lot more than that to hold my interest. I mainly like crime mysteries, and fantasy stories, like Twilight and Harry Potter. I DO NOT enjoy scary books. I'm home alone a lot, as my husband travels for his job, and scary books lead to long nights!

I'm Ashley. I wasn't a reader until recently, and in the past 6 months, I've read an insane amount. I started this for the sole purpose of keeping track of the books I've read, and sharing them with friends.

*I currently work as a nanny and a Pre-K/Music Teacher. Having my two favorite things, music and children, in one job has been amazing!
*I have a BA in music and I'm finishing my Masters in Childhood Education.
*I play in two classic rock bands, keyboard, guitar, and vocals.
*I have the most AWESOME CAT IN THE WORLD (I will fight with anyone who contests this! haha!)
*I married the most amazing man I've ever met this year on August 1st!
*I'm very social, and I'd love to talk books, music, cats, ANYTHING with you!
