- Watership Down by Richard Adams was the book that started my life-long love of the written word. I have my fourth grade teacher to thank for that. Since then, I have enjoyed such wonders of the art-form such as 1984 by George Orwell, Hyperion by Dan Simmons, Until We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis, Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card and countless others. As God has given me a gift to be able appreciate well-crafted literature, I do not intend to waste it. I look forward to enjoying the genius of the written word in all it's beauty until the end of my life.
