You know that joke, "I'm a seafood diet. If I see food, I eat it?" Yeah. That's me and books. If I read a generally positive review or somebody mentions it to me or the cover is especially interesting (yes, I do judge them...) then I want it. Thus, my collection has grown.

Lately, though, I'm on a starvation diet. I went back to school and suddenly the only books I have time to add to my collection fall under my "text book" tag. *sighs* Someday. Until then, it's librivox.org for me.

I love fantasy novels, and mysteries and science fiction... I have a fascination for worlds that are not my own. I also collect select children's books. I collect some because of the writing, or the art, or because I loved them when I was younger.

I hate books.

Okay, I'll admit it: no I don't. It just seems like everybody here starts their About MEs with "I love books" or some derivative thereof. I use books to help further my knowledge in my other hobbies: everything from arts and crafts to personal fitness.
