I don't read as much as I would like and my library drastically underrepresents what I've read because of the nifty freeness of the public library, and my school library, too (University of Florida). I like sci-fi, some fantasy (the less formulaic, the more inventive, the better), but pretty much anything that's good. I'm studying linguistics so there's a bit of that thrown in as well. The silly thing is that this makes me want to go buy more books. I need the Foreigner series by C.J. Cherryh, and the rest of the Ender books, and more LeGuin, and Octavia Butler, and... sigh.

Well, I'm a geek. I like books (no, really?), linguistics, scifi, writing, computers, photography, music, and other things I never have time for, but will once I graduate (one more semester...). I have also been known to sew, make jewelry, and do calligraphy. I'm learning Chinese. I read webcomics rather obsessively (I do everything rather obsessively, in fact (including using parentheses)), and, well, that's me.
