I am a soon-to-be former high school librarian. (Thank you, budget cuts.) Beginning in the fall of 2010, I will be an elementary school librarian. It will be an adjustment, but I look forward to this new opportunity.

I love to read, and I spend as much time doing that as I possibly can. I especially enjoy young adult literature, but I’ll read almost anything except hardcore horror, westerns, and nearly any book written by Charles Dickens.

My favorite authors are Jane Austen, J.K. Rowling, Cassandra Clare, Stephenie Meyer, Rick Riordan, William Goldman, and lots and lots of others. Some of my favorite books include (but are not limited to): Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter books, Cassandra Clare’s Mortal Instruments trilogy, The Princess Bride by William Goldman, Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight saga, Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson series, and too many others to name.
