Lots of Russian novels, in English....I've started keeping and for the most part, collecting classic novels....Will I ever read 'Inferno Trilogy'? Should I?....Same for Moby Dick(tried to read this year-2010-quit half way through-talk about over-rated!)I've a smattering of poetry, but rarely peruse....I could probably read 'til I'm old, just reading the unread books that I own. Just got first pair of reading glasses. 45...

Like you, I gave up TV and suddenly read more....A goal?-to read everything by Faulkner, in order uninterrupted....Present passions include McCarthy, O'Connor, Capote, Doctorow, Dostoevsky, but of course....I'd most like to write like Gogol....books do make lovely furnishings...
