You can see from my ratings of the previous two books in this series that I enjoyed them more. I didn't not like Redemption but I found it was lacking compared to books 1 and 2. It felt like this was almost half of a book. I had my doubts about how this would pan out when I saw the page count was significantly shorter than before, but I thought it was just a shorter conclusion to a trilogy. Turns out that that wasn't the case. I am looking forward to the next book in the series, if there is to be a next book, but this one wasn't completely to my liking. I hope Stephenson kicks it up a notch next time. I know he has it in him.… (altro)
