She grew up drawing on her mother's walls, sneakily staying up late to read by nightlight, and later, cutting class to go to the library and sketch. Any opportunity to con her teachers into letting her illustrate a book report instead of writing one was taken. Although her art is self-taught, she credits Digimon and Studio Ghibli as important influences.

I loved the lush illustrations. The story would have benefited from more development and perhaps slightly different storytelling beats, but it was still a cute read.

Taproot: A Story About A Gardener and A Ghost di Keezy Young

First I would like to thank NetGallery and Keezy Young for providing me an arc in exchange for an honest review. This graphic novel was a creepy yet wholesome story. There wasn't much writing but I did enjoy the story and I love how colourful the art is. The characters are adorable. The little extras at the end in the design progress was really touch.
