I was interested in this but... more interested in the geckos than the micro-scale physics talk. I'm not sure whether this was because it felt like the physics wasn't explained quite enough - or it was explained just fine but I just didn't get it. Either way it began to feel a bit dry for me, but it was very much on the edge of that so could be perfectly fine for someone else.

Een goed geschreven boek over het thema wrijving. Niet alles wordt behandeld, zo is het thema warmteontwikkeling onderbelicht en blijft de natuurkunde erg beperkt. Maar daar staat tegenover dat een aantal onderwerpen erg goed en leesbaar worden beschreven, zoals de gekko, het schaatsen en het autoracen.
