One of my all time favorite Harlequin's!!! Nic is a greek tycoon who unknowingly, owns the hotel franchise that Karis works for. And when he sees her for the first time, he can't believe the fates have put this woman in his life again. Five years ago, Karis was forced to give up the newborn son she cherished. An unwed, unemployed mother was not what she wanted for Marcos. So she gave up her son to a couple who could give him the things he would need, and Karis began to rebuild her life away from Greece, where so many memories remained. Nic requested a private audience with the jewelry retailer manager...Karis, and planned on leaving that night with everything he had set out on this trip to find, including the wife his father was pressuring him to find and marry and bare his grandchildren. When Karis walked into Nic's suite, the floor dropped out from beneath her feet. There before her was a ghost from her past that she dearly did not want to see. For Nic memoralized a time of innocence and love. A time when Karis was free spirited and loved life. But if the man before her wasn't surprise enough, then the secret Nic held dearest to his heart would surely send Karis straight over the edge.
I enjoyed this love story so very much, that it holds a special place in my library as one of my top favorites of all time. I was so very saddened by Karis' story of giving her child up and of Nic's heartache over the death of his wife. Only fate could bring these two souls together and perform the heart mending miracle called Love.… (altro)
