Yep, exactly what it sounds like - a cat in an astronaut suit explains rockets. It explains things clearly and concisely in an engaging and age-appropriate way.

Less complicated than some of the other Astro Cat books, this volume covers how rockets reach space, the Apollo 11 mission, and the space shuttles. With only a few sentences per page, there is less detail, but the three year old was engrossed. The blocky pictures do not appeal to me as much, but the kids love them.

Two space cats give a tour of the solar system, from the sun out to Neptune. The information is easily digestible for younger readers. Back matter includes a glossary (words in bold in the book appear in the glossary), but no sources.
