This was such a great issue! I love America Chavez from West Coast Avengers and it’s so exciting to get to read more of her, especially with this background on her origins and family. The plot points that were set up (like the problems with her powers, and her ongoing relationship with Ramone Watts) were well introduced and I already feel invested in the story. Big points to the writing and dialogue, too- it’s witty and to the point without feeling try-hard, and I feel like the tone fits well here. Plus, seeing more Kate Bishop?? WITH America?? DOING COOL AVENGERS STUFF AND BEING BADASS FRIENDS?! Be still my beating heart.… (altro)
