An excellent book and exhibition on the later years in the life and work of Claude Monet. The focus is on his studies in light and color - paintings of his garden in Giverny, the lily pond and Japanese-style bridge - and how his deteriorating eyesight (he underwent two cataract surgeries) impacted his work.
