This was an entertaining, very light book. I enjoyed reading it as one would enjoy watching a sitcom. I did find the dialogue with the 10 year old daughter, Priscilla, and the young neighbor boy way too old and logical for their ages.

Ten year old Henry Pendergast describes four chaotic holidays spent with his family, Thanksgiving 1968, Christmas 1968, Easter 1969, and Independence Day 1969. It is an interesting look at a typical well to do family and the consequences it financial interests.

Typical coming of age and learning family secrets story. Too many dashes and dots.
