One of the top 5 business books I have read in the past 5 years and one of the books I have most frequently quoted and loaned to others.
Different than most of today's fluffy business books, the Good Jobs Strategy talks about the importance of getting things right in the area of operations and employee morale and training. Getting those things right, allows those companies to pay their workers more than other companies in the same branch while actually earning more profits. Although most examples are taken from the retail industry, the book applies to a wide variety of industries.… (altro)
