My reading buddy and I read this book some time last summer and we both enjoyed it. Sadly, the title of the book is rather unremarkable and the author is fairly new so when we were trying to recall the title, BOTH of us were quite stumped. I spent the last 4 or 5 days scrolling through all the books I read last year on my Kindle and emailing a description of the story-line to various GR contacts in the hope that someone, ANYONE I knew had also read this book and could help me remember the flippin' title. Needless to say after several, "Nope, sorry I can't help you but good luck!" replies, I was ready to rip my hair out and maybe even cry a little.

I've been a GoodReads member for a few years but only really started utilizing it for reviews and keeping track of books I've read some time last year. CLEARLY, IT WAS BEFORE I READ THIS BOOK!! So I called my reading buddy this evening and forced her to scroll through the Kindle app on her phone and read me title after title while I crossed checked them on GR. I was DETERMINED to find this book and, as you can see, a little persistence paid off because here we are.

To be fair, I don't know if I could write the most unbiased review at this point because anything I have to say would likely be colored by my utter ECSTASY at having come across the title once again, lol! I will say that as I was wracking my brain, little details of the book kept coming back to me (you know, everything except, the title, author, characters names. . .) Anyway, I tend NOT to remember little details of a book I read more than 6 months past UNLESS I truly enjoyed it. So we'll put this one in the "GOOD" pile for now. I may have to re-read it soon just to be sure.… (altro)
