The best thing about anthologies is discovering new authors, in addition to rediscovering old favorites. This collection had a wide array of sub-genres all with one common theme, dominance, and one star of the show, strong alpha cowboys. Mmmm, cowboys.

There is something for everyone, historical, contemporary, paranormal, and even dark. This is a HUGE anthology. Some of these stories would be 20 pages before it would even change 1% towards the end of the book. So, buckle in, this is a long one. Off-topic, this cover is fire. I need me a cowboy.… (altro)

I am honestly not sure how to rate this book. There is a warning with this book about spanking. But the spanking is part of the alien culture, where the men are in charge and they can discipline their women this way. I don't like this at all, the heroine has little choice in almost anything. Speak when allowed, Eat even when you don't want to , then when she speaks up for herself, she gets punished. The problem is the author makes this okay by saying she enjoys it although at times she becomes downhearted. But the 'hero' does not seem to see that she needs her dignity, he has taken her choice in everything.
The story line idea is good but i would have loved it with out all the other stuff.
Also she goes before the council and gets punished and admits guilt without explaining that she was kidnapped, stunned and imprisoned in a room so I didn't really view her as guilty. Also the hero was partly to blame as he didn't explain things properly to her.… (altro)
