Robert K. Tanenbaum was born in Brooklyn, New York. He received a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and a J.D. from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley. He is one of the country's most respected trial lawyers and has never lost a felony case. He has mostra altro been the Homicide Bureau Chief for the New York District Attorney's Office and Deputy Chief Counsel to the congressional committee's investigations into the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. He is the author of the Butch Karp-Marlene Ciampi Thriller series. It had a good plot, but the style wasn't my type (kind of rough vernacular) and towards the end it seemed a little convenient and unbelievable. This was recommended by my husband as Tanenbaum is one of his favorite authors.

I thought Fatal Conceit was going to be a really great book as, with a few name and location changes, it exposed what probably really happened in Benghazi under the direction of the Obama/Clinton reign. But then, things started happening that seemed like they would never happen (as if it were a 'novel,' eh?) and then, around page 370 (out of 448, not 600 Goodreads), mimicking television's 'Law & Order,' we got into the trial part that went on and on and on and on, and I basically ended-up scanning the last four or five pages.… (altro)
