Karynne Summars

Karynne Summars, the author of the erotic romance thriller entitled “Desperate Pursuit in Venice”, was born and raised in Berlin, Germany from where she moved to Honolulu, Hawaii when she first came to the United States. She currently lives in New York and Marbella, Spain. Her former career as an international corporate finance professional did not allow her to spend the time to fulfill her long dream of writing a novel. But that desire never went away and there is a right time for everything in life, which came about a year ago when she decided to put pen to paper writing fiction instead of executive summaries and board presentations for finance transactions. Writing a novel came easy. Certain of her life experiences provided a good basis for this novel. From there she expanded the storyline and added exciting events and captivating characters. The material was flowing without any case of writer’s block and she completed the novel in about seven months. She already has concrete ideas for additional novels once the sequel to “Desperate Pursuit in Venice” is published, which is scheduled towards the end of 2013.
