'The poison Garden' by Sarah Singleton engrosses its readers into such adventure through the protagonist, Thomas Reiter who was Intrigued by the magical experiments performed by his grandmother, Augusta, who passes away under a mysterious circumstances. Thomas, then explores her grandma's garden where he finds a mysterious box through which he enters the secret garden only to realise that his grandmother was poisoned. Then the story takes a leap of four years and Thomas, all grown up involves himself to find out Augusta's murderer. Followed by the series of more murders. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Whole book has been divided into five parts regarding five gardens and sets in the Victorian era. The story moves rapidly from beginning making your concentration tact which in the middle gets distorted as the story becomes slow and confusing followed by the revival of speed again with eventual and smooth end of the novel. This #juvenilefiction is written in simple English enchanted with classic vibes. It is a complete package of 3Ms-- Magic, mystery and murder, with classic essence as bonus. @kala.e.kitaabi rates it 3.5/5. A worth read.… (altro)
