Trilochan Singh (–1993)

This is more or less a collection of philosophical, theological and also historical essays detailing the fundamental postulates of the Sikh faith as understood by their author, the esteemed Trilochan Singh.

However much like any other field, scholarship is also replete with the biases of its own practitioners. While Trilochan Singh makes a compelling case for the preservation and proliferation of Sikhi and the Sikh identity while arguing for Sikh civil rights in India, he is betrayed by his inability to distinguish between and scrutinize his sources.

This is an exceptional source for all avid students of Sikhi and Sikh heritage though lay readers should use it as one of many sources in their study of Sikhi rather than their only source.… (altro)
