I received Pier Pressure as an advance copy for review. I thought this book had stunning photos, and whether intentional or not, the author didn't include lots of pictures of people, which can date a book rather quickly with out of date clothing, etc. I loved that each pier included various photos of the area, a map of where the pier is located, a history of the pier, and highlights of what to do while you're there visiting. I hope the author considers making this a national project and doing similar books for other states. I live in Ohio and would love a book of beautiful travel book of our state parks and other places to visit, such as Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Kelley Island, Hocking Hills, the Ohio River Valley, etc.… (altro)
