Absolutely loved the visual storytelling here. Great action and comedic timing.
A love a good caper and I love all things French, so this is a win-win. The Grande Odalisque is a campy, over-the-top, and fun crime caper book featuring a duo of female art thieves who are reckless in their pursuit of classical paintings in the Musée d'Orsay and the Louvre. The characterization is a bit thin but you can sense that Carole and Alex have a complex relationship.

Premier opus qui en a vu deux avec Olympia, la grande Odalisque est une BD à suspense d’un groupe de femmes monte en l’air, des voleuses d’art un peu obsédées sexuelles, un peu branquignoles et qui n’ont pas froid aux yeux.
Une bande dessinée vraiment impressionnante dans le traitement du mouvement, des corps et de la représentation des espaces.
