An autobiography outlining the struggles of Simon, the authors husband as well as the author through Simons undiagnosed mental health issues in the 1990’s and after his suicide.
I found the writing a little too descriptive in places for an autobiography but overall found the way the narrative was written was easy to read even when going back in time to explain an event, this was done skilfully.
The author explains her feelings and emotions throughout her marriage and beyond with great clarity.
Some people like the author get the rough end of the stick in life, and this autobiography showcases human resilience and determination through some very sad and scary times in her life.
The author’s generosity in narrating her experiences hopefully will acknowledge support and help others going through similar traumas. Thank you
