This is one of the best guides to hiking Acadia National Park, on Mount Desert Island, Maine, that you will find. It includes excellent descriptions of each trail in the park, including difficulty ratings, distance, maps, and highlights. The photos, unfortunately, are in black and white only, but nonetheless beautiful. This book is well put together, easy to follow, and a must for any hiker in Acadia!
