Interesting twist on a classic, even though this version of Jane is slightly annoying, and sometimes the future world they live in is not explained well.. but I'll be reading the second book...

Finally some good action going on....but I still have 2 more to read..sigh

In this re-read of a Pride and Prejudice variation we view the life of Charlotte Lucas and her marriage to Mr. Collins. Can either be truly happy in this marriage especially with the spectre of Lady Catherine hovering over their lives.
An enjoyable story bringing both characters to life.

A re-read of a Pride and Prejudice variation where we read about the events that lead to the circumstances of Mary being invited to visit Hunsford where she meets Major Quartermaine, a relation of Lady Catherine's late husband. Events make her think less of the Major, but can there be a happy ending for this shy and prim Bennet daughter.
Thoroughly enjoyed this story, just wished Mary story's could have been a longer. I liked this Mary and the new character.
