This book is a good example of science fiction because the story is based around a scientific discovery, in which fantasy of time travel becomes reality.
Setting: The beginning of the book is set in eighteenth century, the description of time and place is important to the story so readers can understand where the time travelers are coming from, as well as where they are going to.
