A wonder monograph on a "Book of Hours" explaining each section of the "Hours" in concise, easy to understand terminology, but the appendices contain listing of religious feasts for an entire year - broken out by month, etc.

A wonderful primer for those interested in making the own "Book of Hours".

Excellent introduction with the provenance of the book and the strange twists that it went through. Nice descriptions of the contents. Beautiful photos of the folios.
