Cora Shelly arrived on Midnight Island, she's running as far as she can from the ghosts that are haunting her. She was attacked by a brutal sadist and is waiting for his trial so that she can put that ghost to rest. She finds herself attracted to Jake Mackenzie, her employer, but he has ghosts as well that haunt him.

It's a pretty classic fixed location mystery with occasional glimpses of a ghost, and with a romance tying things together. Fairly entertaining, kept me wondering for a while even if some of the plot points were signalled by the setting.… (altro)
