Elsa Pedersen

Elsa Pedersen was born elsa Kienitz in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she went to school. She and her husband, a commercial fisherman, liv ein Alaska, where she works during the summer in salmon canneries. She is the author of books for children, and contibutes to magazines. She is the area correspondent for the Anchorage Times. In 1944 she and her husband homesteaded in the Alaska wilderness, where they live during the winter.
