Super fast read about a young woman in the gaming industry fighting against misogynist office culture and internet trolls while trying to succeed in her career and have a romance with one of the only nice guys she encounters.

Read this one right after liking Loathe at First Sight but this was disappointing from start to finish. I liked the idea of the two potential love birds getting together during a multi day zombie themed adventure race but that part actually seemed rushed and the not focus as I expected it to be.

Quick read so very little investment here but I’d skip this one if I were you.

I thought this was a romance novel, but it's mostly about how shitty the gaming industry is for women and people of color.

After being fired from her banking job, Jessie works on finding her self confidence and way in life. With support from her mom, delivery girl/barrista Flora, her best friend Celeste, and Daniel a boy she was always comparing herself to, she learns she can be successful and enjoy yourself/life while you do it.
